Net Billing in Cyprus: what it means for your electricity bill
Under Net Billing, exported solar energy is credited at a much lower rate than imported electricity costs. Here is why self-consumption now defines whether solar pays off.
Read article →Solar for Tala's hillside homes and villas, designed for tiled roofs and elevated sites.
Tala sits in the hills above Paphos, and its homes share characteristics that shape good solar design: elevated positions with strong sun exposure, often tiled roofs, and frequently the generous consumption of villas with pools and air conditioning. The elevation and clear exposure are an advantage, giving panels excellent access to the sun through the day.
Tiled roofs call for careful mounting that protects the roof's integrity while holding panels at a productive angle, and multi-face roofs sometimes benefit from arrays split across orientations to balance production through the day. These are design decisions, not catalogue defaults, and they are the kind of detail an engineering-led approach exists to get right. Tala is a short drive from our base, so we are close by for assessment, installation and the support that follows.
We install in Tala and the surrounding hill villages, as well as throughout the Paphos district.
